The New Discovered tomb 2014/2015
A new tomb of the head of the army archives and the Royal messenger of the king to the foriegn countries "Paser" dated to the Ramesside period.
The faculty of Archaeology - Cairo University excavation discovered in 2010 the tomb of "The mayor of Memphis and general army Ptahmes" Reign of Sethi I and Ramses II.
The Excavation Season 2013/2014
During the last excavation season 2013/2014 some beautiful fragements of relief and statues were discovered, beside the new tomb of Paser.
The conservation and preservation process started for the Royal messenger Paser which discovered at the end of the last season 2013/2014.
The new season of excavation 2014/2015 started ln 1/11/2014, Restoration, documen-tation, and publication works are on their way. The season is due to end on the first of May 2015.

The discovered tomb of Paser currently completed by the conservation team in order to restore the tomb to its original plan.
The Minister of higher education Dr. Wael El-Degewy, The Minister of Archaeology Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, The Giza governor Dr. Ali Abd-Elrahan, The Cairo University president Dr. Gaber Nassar, The faculty of Archaeology dean Prof. Mohamed Hamza attended the inauguration ceremony of Paser tomb.
